Learn sustainable farming techniques

If you are interested in deepening your understanding of sustainable farming and learning some essential techniques and practices in a local context, calm and surrounded by ancient trees, this experience is for you!

Join members of a local organization of young farmers in learning the basics of agroecology and contributing to the development of the area. The organization’s goals are to contribute to local development by strengthening economic and social activities in the area. This experience gives you the chance to collaborate directly with these young, dynamic farmers and to participate in various phases of preparation and fertilization of the terrain, preparing liquid and solid compost, collecting primary materials, and other activities based on the season and the daily responsibilities of local members. This will be an unforgettable experience in close collaboration with young farmers, allowing you to learn traditional and sustainable agricultural practices of the Casamance region. Upon your return home, you can use what you’ve learned to create a little corner of Senegal right in your home garden!
